Essex Hawthorne owns one of Cottonwood’s newest self-storage facilities. They saw that small contractors in the community needed right-sized rental facilities and decided to develop the adjacent property. The community’s success is as important to this owner-operator as their own success!

The new 14,172 SF office warehouse rental facility will house up to 12 units. Each unit will have a small office area with a larger warehouse area behind, with the smallest unit being only 900 SF—perfect for a small business just getting its feet off the ground! The units will share a centrally located restroom with key card entry for security. Each unit also has a large roll-up door for easy warehouse deliveries.

The self-storage facility next door will be a significant boost for the tenants, who will likely need additional storage capacity as their businesses expand.  

On Point provided design of the site, storage facility, building floor plan, and elevations, all for City design approval. We also provided construction documents for permitting and have been integrated into the construction’s success by attending weekly meetings and reviewing all Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
