PROJECT TYPES
The biggest question we answer daily is “What type of architecture do you design?”
Short answer: Commercial
Long answer: We design self-storage, RV & boat storage, medical clinics, restaurants, drive-thru restaurants, office/ warehouses, automotive facilities, churches, and rock-climbing facilities! We’re skilled in new construction as well as tenant improvements and renovations. We are licensed within Arizona and have reciprocity to work in other states.
DESIGN
Whether you need help with programming your site and spaces or designing the overall aesthetic of the building, On Point is ready to assist. We provide design development packages to include full color 3D renderings of the building, including a material board, floor plan design, site design, and in conjunction with our trusted engineering partners, we can include site landscaping and site lighting design as required by the AHJ.
ENTITLEMENTS
On Point can assist in developing a cohesive design package for submittal to the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to obtain rezoning, site plan approval, special use permits, design review approval, and variances. We work alongside zoning attorneys to meet the demanding requirements of any municipality within Arizona.
SITE PLANNING
On Point brings forth our decades of site design experience to develop site designs to meet client needs and municipality zoning requirements in a cohesive package to present to the city for their required preapplication review.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
No project is complete until a construction document set is prepared. On Point will hire all the required engineers (except for civil) to complete a full set of construction documents ready to be permitted and bid by your contractor. It’s the road map of how to build your project, arguably the most important part of any construction project!
CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION
Once the project has been permitted, it’s time for your contractor to start building. As the architect, our job isn’t complete until the project has its certificate of occupancy. So how can we help? On Point can be your eyes and ears on the job during all aspects of the construction. We can attend weekly or biweekly meetings on the site, answer requests for information, and check shop drawings and submittals– just about anything you need to keep the project moving forward in a smooth and orderly fashion.
